This paper reviews the major achievements in land consolidation and rehabilitation informationlization during the last ten years, studies the present status and existing issues and presents some approaches, aiming at “national supervision, provincial charge, city-town execution”. This informationalization needs to establish the information management system through all-level land administrations’ network channels, management system and backup system so as to assess the performance. A quick-response system based on 3S shall be established to manage the lands on map and to increase the efficiency in land consolidation and development.
